'The problems don’t change,' Emily Brown ready for 2025 federal election

With a federal election coming sometime this year, local Conservative Party of Canada candidate Emily Brown is hitting the ground running.

Having won the local Conservative nomination for Burlington in late 2024, Brown is confident her team is ready and local residents are getting behind her.

“The party has said to be election-ready,” she said. “We’ve just come off the nomination, I have a strong mandate from the Conservatives to be the candidate in the next election and now it’s full steam ahead. We have every role but one filled for our big committees, we did a big fundraising drive at the end of the year that hit our goal and then another 50 per cent over that, and we’re getting a great response.”
