Soaring high above Toronto’s waterfront, the Canadian International Air Show (CIAS) is back to thrill audiences once again this Labour Day Weekend.

Soaring high above Toronto’s waterfront, the Canadian International Air Show (CIAS) is back to thrill audiences once again this Labour Day Weekend. Taking place August 30, 31, and September 1, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 3:40 pm daily, this spectacular tradition promises breathtaking aerobatics, roaring jet engines, and unforgettable displays of aviation excellence. A practice day will also run on Friday, August 29, giving fans an extra opportunity to catch the action.

Where to Watch

The best views are found inside the Exclusive Air Show Zone at Marilyn Bell Park (1095 Lake Shore Blvd. West). This prime location offers live narration, seating, food vendors, and a front-row seat to every maneuver in the sky. Tickets also include same-day admission to the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), so you can enjoy all the fun of the fair before or after the show. Additional views are available across Lakeshore Boulevard or within the CNE itself, though these areas won’t feature narration.

Getting There

With the CNE drawing big crowds, parking near the grounds fills up quickly. Guests are strongly encouraged to take public transit:

  • GO Train: Lakeshore West service runs every 30 minutes, with connections from Niagara, Barrie, Milton, Kitchener, and Stouffville on weekends. Children 12 and under ride free on GO Transit.

  • TTC: The 504B King Streetcar, 29 Dufferin Bus, 511 Bathurst Streetcar, and 509 Harbourfront Streetcar all stop at the Exhibition grounds, putting you within walking distance of the Air Show Zone.

If you do drive, limited paid parking is available at CNE lots, Ontario Place, and Green P lots along Lakeshore Boulevard—but plan to arrive early.

What to Expect

  • Daily Flying Schedule: Performances change daily and are confirmed each morning, with updates sent to CIAS Insiders.

  • STEM Zone: A free, interactive aerospace zone for all ages, open Aug 30–Sep 1 from 10 am–4 pm.

  • Food & Drink: Food trucks, bars, and a Flight Deck Chalet experience with catered lunch and open bar.

  • Live Streaming: For 2025, CIAS will stream narration all weekend and live video on Saturday and Sunday.

Insider Tip

Sign up to become a CIAS Insider for early performer announcements, behind-the-scenes content, and ticket discounts of up to 50% off when they go on sale in June 2025.

What to Bring

Pack the essentials: sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, refillable water bottle, ear protection (especially for kids), and a camera to capture the action. Seating is included with ticketed admission, so no need to bring your own chairs.

Don’t Miss It!

For over 70 years, the Canadian International Air Show has been a highlight of Toronto’s Labour Day celebrations, combining history, precision, and the raw power of aviation. Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast or looking for an unforgettable way to cap off the summer, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
