When summer in Burlington hits its peak, there’s one tradition that locals and visitors circle on their calendars — Lakeside à la Carte. On Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 1–4 PM, Spencer Smith Park will transform into a lakeside haven of food, wine, and community spirit. This year marks the 26th edition of the Rotary Club of Burlington Central’s signature fundraising event — and it’s shaping up to be one of the best yet.

A Feast for Every Taste

Included in your ticket is the chance to sample unlimited bites and sips from over 45 restaurants, wineries, and breweries, each showcasing their finest creations. Whether you’re a fan of savoury steak, fresh-baked goods, artisan coffee, or bold craft beer, there’s something to tempt every palate.

This year’s lineup features: Bagel Barn, Bardo, Chop Steakhouse, Christy’s Gourmet Gifts, Di Mario’s Trattoria, Hola Café & Market, Industria Pizzeria + Bar, Kawartha Dairy Ltd., Paradiso, Pepperwood, Pintoh, Radius, Rapscallion, Rayhoon, Squires, Pellet Estates — and many more.

Under elegant white marquee tents, you can stroll between tasting stations while enjoying the shimmering lake as your backdrop. The atmosphere is enhanced by easy-listening live entertainment, giving the event that perfect summer garden party vibe.

More Than Just Great Food & Wine

Beyond the culinary delights, Lakeside à la Carte offers exciting ways to win big while giving back. The silent auctionreturns with show-stopping prizes, including:

A Tradition with Impact

Since its debut in 1999, Lakeside à la Carte has raised nearly $1 million in support of local charities and child-focused programs. The Rotary Club of Burlington Central, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting both community and international projects, organizes the event each year.

In 2024, funds went to support Food for Life and The Community, two organizations making a direct impact on local families. Every ticket sold, auction bid, and raffle entry contributes to these vital efforts — making the event not only a feast for your senses but also a force for good in Burlington.
