Burlington mayor Marianne Meed Ward sat down with Annette Hamm to discuss the appeal from the Burlington Aquatic Devilrays after pool time was awarded to the Golden Horseshoe Aquatic Club. After the decision was made parents, swimmers and their families went to Committee to share their stories and the procurement experience and council will be looking into a different way to go about it. A special council meeting on the issue will be held tomorrow and they will update the community when there is more to share. Mayor Meed Ward also shared an update on the greenspace at Millcroft and improving parking downtown.
