Toronto’s brand-new Rogers Stadium is already learning from its debut concert—after fans voiced frustration over crowd management during the Stray Kids show last Sunday, organizers are making swift changes.

Some concertgoers reported wait times of up to two hours just to exit the venue, calling it chaotic and poorly managed. In response, Live Nation Canada says it’s “already making adjustments” to improve crowd flow and safety.

Expect changes including:
– More signage, lighting, and water stations
– A reconfigured exit strategy to better distribute the crowd to nearby TTC stations
– Increased staff presence to help manage large turnouts

Additionally, TTC officials are reviewing their support services at Downsview and Wilson Stations, with plans to boost staff presence at upcoming shows.

As for reports of movement in the upper grandstands, Live Nation clarified that the “flex” is part of the stadium’s energy-absorbing design and exceeds international safety codes.

Rogers Stadium will be put to the test again next week with Coldplay’s four-night run from July 7–12.

Organizers, city officials, and transit partners are now working together to ensure a smoother experience for future fans. Stay tuned—and plan ahead.
