"Burlington is always amazingly giving. With food prices so high, it’s fantastic to see Burlington 365 giving back and the community coming together in support."

Councillor Rory Nisan

This holiday season, Burlington 365 partnered with Next Rock Organizing, Workwell Coworking Space, and Shaheryar Mian to host a Christmas Food Drive in support of the Burlington Food Bank. The drive brought together local businesses, community members, and volunteers with a shared goal of helping those in need during the holiday season.

The food drive was a resounding success, with a total of 346 pounds of food donated. This incredible achievement highlights the generosity and community spirit of Burlington and the surrounding area. The contributions will go a long way in supporting families and individuals who rely on the Burlington Food Bank during the holidays and beyond.

The organizers extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, including the businesses and individuals who donated food, spread the word, or volunteered their time. Their collective efforts ensured the food drive exceeded expectations and made a meaningful impact.

Burlington 365 would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jill Gillis of Next Rock Organizing for her incredible support in collecting donations and assisting with food drop-offs at the Burlington Food Bank. Jill’s dedication and generosity have made a meaningful difference in helping our community members in need. Her efforts remind us of the power of coming together to create positive change. Thank you, Jill!

Thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who helped contribute:

A special thank you to our friends at the Burlington Food Bank for all their help and hard work in this effort.

"Humbled to be part of this noble initiative. 33% of food bank users in Canada are children. We must address food insecurity at a grassroots community level I hope I can continue to be part of this effort!"

Shaheryar Mian

This food drive is a testament to the power of community collaboration and the importance of giving back. Burlington 365 and its partners look forward to continuing such initiatives in the future, fostering a spirit of generosity and unity in the city.

Stay tuned for updates, and thank you to everyone who made this holiday season brighter for those in need.
